The Technology Hub is one of 9 Ministry of Education preferred suppliers for Strengthening Digital Technologies

We offer Training Solutions, Resources and Consultancy for the Education sector in the Digital Technologies space.

We specialise in these key areas:

  • Curriculum planning and teacher professional development that promotes digital fluency for Kiwi learners through the creative and innovative use of computing and new technologies.
  • Best practice IT Infrastructure Management Training to leverage maximum value from school IT using the Framework for ICT Technical Support (FITS)

Our Portfolio includes:

  • Curriculum planning and course development for Digital Technologies years 6-10
  • Teacher professional development workshops for teachers of years 6-13
  • Delivery of FITS Framework for ICT Technical Support Certified Training
  • We also sell Raspberry Pis – the fantastic little computer that’s capable of teaching big ideas

Ginette Van Praag – Owner/Operator

Ginette is a registered teacher and has over 15 years experience working with ICT in the Education Sector. She has been an ICT Educator, Leader of Learning and IT Infrastructure Middle both here in New Zealand and in the UK.

She also actively promotes creative computing in the wider community and in 2014 co-founded the 3C’s Raspberry Pi Computer Club for the 8-14 age group at Whangarei Central Library.

The Technology Hub Ltd works with established organisations who share the same vision – raising student achievement through effective and innovative use of computers and digital technologies.

Skills.org have spent many years supporting young people into Technology careers and are the creators of the Brightsparks initiative and national competition. We have worked together to support Digital Technologies Teachers with Raspberry Pi Technology.
